So, i have really close friends who i almost never lie to, except about one thing. my parents. I'm living with my best friend and have been for a while. When my friends asked me why, I lied and said i chose to because my family was having problems and i didnt want to be involved. But the truth is my parents are not reliable and they couldnt support me. they lost our house and have been living in and out of motels and places for like 8 months, but noone knows that except for the girl i live with. I hate to lie to them but i can't bare to tell them and have them look at me differently. Also, I hate despising my parents like i do, but how can i possibly like them when they cant support me?

My sister and both applied for the same college. she got in, i was rejected. she's a senior in high school while i've been at a junior college off and on for the past 4 years. i knew i wasn't going to be accepted, but i still felt horrible. now, whenever she receives mail from said college, i want to tear it into a million pieces, burn it, and bury it deep into the ground. i hate that's she's going there next semester. she's moving into an apartment with her friends. i'll still be stuck at home at the same fucking jr. college. i've never told her how i feel b/c i know i didn't deserve being accepted. i'm just very childish.
