I must confess. I use to be an avid fan of mandarin oranges, and publically supported them and favored them over their brother counterpart - regular oranges.
I felt their convenient size made them more portable, their thin, tender skin rendered them very peelable. Their sweet, aroma-filled nectar was arousing to my sense of taste, and their smooth and hairless texture made them not only an excellent source of vitamins but an enriching nutritional experience.
I bought some regular oranges. And I liked them more. I'm a fraud.
