i used to tie an elastic around my cats tail for seconds at a time because she would chase after it and we would play. one day i forgot to take it off and i found her the next night crying. i took it off and a few weeks later the end fell off. there's a kink in it now, but the hair has grown back. i feel SOOO bad and i regret this so much.
