A flower growing in the spring sunshine adds beauty to the Earth, A tear runs down a new mother's cheek at the moment of her baby's birth, These are beautiful things, yet quiet all the while. Have you ever heard the sound of a smile? A heart is given to another filled with loyalty and trust, An anxious father waits for his child to step off the school bus, Memories of loved ones lost tucked safely away in style. Again I ask, have you ever heard the sound of a smile? I heard the sound a smile makes when I looked into your eyes. It sounded just like caring, fear, joy, hope and surprise, Though not to be heard with the ears as we usually do. I heard it with my heart when I fell in love with you.
